1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the Valenke Finance platform (“Service”), operated by Valenke (“we,” “us,” “our”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Service Description

Valenke Finance is an adaptive quantitative trading interview preparation platform. It uses Item Response Theory (IRT) with Expected A Posteriori (EAP) estimation to adapt question difficulty to your ability level. The Service includes adaptive practice sessions, timed mock exams, topic drills, mental math practice, Socratic hints, core problem analysis, and firm-tier readiness benchmarks.

3. Educational Purpose Only

The Service is designed for educational and interview-preparation purposes only. Completion of practice sessions or achieving a particular readiness score does not guarantee employment, an interview invitation, or success in any quantitative trading firm’s hiring process. Readiness scores and firm-tier benchmarks are statistical estimates based on your performance, not predictions of interview outcomes.

4. No Affiliation with Trading Firms

Valenke is an independent company. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or partnered with any trading firm or financial institution, including but not limited to: Jane Street, Citadel Securities, Two Sigma, D.E. Shaw, Jump Trading, Hudson River Trading, Susquehanna International Group (SIG), Optiver, Akuna Capital, IMC Trading, DRW, Five Rings Capital, Renaissance Technologies, Tower Research Capital, and Virtu Financial. All firm names are trademarks of their respective owners and are used solely for informational benchmarking purposes.

5. No Financial or Investment Advice

The Service teaches quantitative reasoning skills for interview preparation. Nothing on the platform constitutes financial advice, investment advice, or a recommendation to buy, sell, or hold any security, derivative, or financial instrument. Valenke is not a registered investment adviser, broker-dealer, or financial planner.

6. User Accounts

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately at support@valenke.com if you suspect unauthorized access.

7. Subscriptions and Payment

Valenke Finance offers paid subscription plans processed through Dodo Payments, our merchant of record. Current pricing:

  • Monthly: $31.99 per month, billed monthly
  • Annual: $255.99 per year ($21.33/month equivalent), billed annually

Subscriptions auto-renew at the end of each billing cycle. You may cancel at any time through your account settings or by contacting support@valenke.com. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period — you retain access until then.

A Valenke Finance subscription is independent from any other Valenke product subscription. Subscribing to one product does not grant access to another.

8. Refund Policy

  • Monthly ($31.99/mo): Non-refundable. You may cancel at any time and retain access through the end of your billing cycle.
  • Annual ($255.99/yr): Eligible for a full refund if requested within 7 days of purchase AND you have answered fewer than 20 practice questions. After that window, annual subscriptions are non-refundable.

9. Intellectual Property

All practice questions, solutions, concept explanations, core problems, hint chains, and other educational content on Valenke Finance are original works created by Valenke. Our content is not sourced from, copied from, or based on actual interview questions from any trading firm. You may not copy, redistribute, or commercially use our content without written permission.

10. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

  • Share your account credentials with others
  • Use automated tools, bots, or scrapers to access the Service
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer the adaptive algorithm or IRT parameters
  • Redistribute, publish, or sell practice questions or solutions
  • Interfere with the Service’s operation or other users’ experience
  • Misrepresent your identity or impersonate another person

11. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

12. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, VALENKE’S TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIMS ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE TOTAL AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

13. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated at least 14 days in advance via email or a notice on the platform. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
